Strawberry Crashout - MP3 and wav download

Here we go, figured we'd set this up so you could download the .wav and .mp3 versions of the song. Had to wrestle with things for a bit to get it to work, but hey, I learned something in the process, right? Maybe? (I'm going to forget, I just know it.) Personally I think they sound better than the YouTube version, but that's me, I sat with this thing and listened to it countless times while working on it. I'm always sure that anything I mix (since I've done that job for Ransom's music, too) sounds awful on someone's headphones somewhere, but I do try to listen to it on a couple of devices with several sets of headphones first, and if I can, I'll get a second opinion from another set of ears, too. I'm not a pro, but I try.

I confess I gave up the fight to make it match other music we have in our collection for 'loudness'. I'm thoroughly confused by the science of it, and I chose dynamic range over sheer loudness, but I probably skewed too far to dynamic range over volume. So you might have to turn up the volume a bit. Someday I hope to slightly understand how it all works.

I don't intend for this to be my last composition, after all.

This was fun! Started as almost a joke between me and Ransom. And then of course I started to take it extremely seriously. Well, except for all the laughing I was doing while I organized clips and got them lined up, and listened to every newer, better iteration. Honestly proud of it, and even more that I got it done in just a couple of months. For me, that's lightning fast!
