I suppose I am usually considered the stand out, in some way, that it is often ‘the boys’ and then ‘Finn’. I do think that any one of us could be considered the one who is the most different, of course, but I suppose just by virtue of age alone, I often end up in that category. I think I was restless, at first, when I arrived. It was an unfamiliar sort of thing, to me, though in retrospect it was little more familiar to Rhodri, either. It took me some time, I fear, to learn how things operate here, what is normal, what is not, and what is within the bounds of what Rhodri is willing to do. I was rather self-serving, at first, but now that I am much more familiar with life as it is here, I am perfectly happy to be supportive. My own needs are few, and I have more patience than any of the ‘boys’ may ever have, but my sense of time flows differently to theirs. I doubt that I have much to contribute in the way of opinions on outside media, and can only say of Rhodri and Ransom’s efforts that it seems to be good for them, how it is for the outside world, I have little idea, and much less interest in that than in how it impacts those who live here. It is a challenge to front, and I spend far more of my time focused inward here, rather than focusing on the details of the outer world.
